Vale Road Walking for Dignity : Update!

Update : Our wonderful staff, residents and their families from Vale Road completed a 15 mile walk on Sunday 24th of March in aid of the National Dignity Council. A 10am launch from Stoke Mandeville Secondary School saw our ramblers walk to Halton Village, complete a circuit of Halton Camp, exit into Weston Turville before back onto Wendover Road to the school.

Katie, manager of Vale Road wrote the following;

We just wanted to share with you that all involved completed the full 15 mile walk yesterday.

Thank you Nassrin for your lovely surprise of joining us on the walk it was lovely to have you with us and thank you Saam for your support coming to see us all off.
We would like to say a BIG thank you to all staff and residents at Wendover road for your support, beautiful banners and cheering it really helped us push ourselves for our last 2 miles, you all made it magical.
We are still in the process of collecting the final sponsor forms but after some calculations we are over the moon to say we have raised approximately £1,500!!!!!!
An absolutely incredible achievement from everyone involved, fortunately the sun shone for the day and most of the shoes worn where appropriate for the long walk.
If you wish to still donate thee Justgiving page can be found HERE
Please enjoy the photos from the day here and hopefully we can raise awareness the importance of dignity in the heart, mind and actions across our society.
