REHABILITATION OF OFFENDERS ACT 1974 - EXEMPTION FROM SECTION 4(2)

This vacancy is exempt from the above act, as the nature of the job falls within the type of work excluded from the Act by the 1975 and 2001 Exceptions Amendment. This means that you must declare ALL offenses, convictions, cautions, bind-over or any court cases, including any driving offenses (which for all other purposes are “spent” under the provision of the Act). If your name is on the Adults Barred List, this must be declared. Failure to declare any of the above is sufficient grounds for instant dismissal.

DBS Check

This post involves working with or having access to vulnerable adults and/or their records. If your application is successful, we will request an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. All convictions and/or cautions must be disclosed. This position will be subject to checking your name against the Barred List.
